The South African house scene has brought us Christopher Wilde which with this release put the South African scene on the map. Bitter Sweet Feelings Ep with Lu Chase on the vocals is a 6 track package that includes mixes from Motorcitysoul & Soul Minority in addition to the 3 original mixes from Christopher. A strong package I guess but I did not receive the Motorcitysoul & Soul Minority mixes. The original got a bit of broken beat feeling to it though it’s not. It has a hypnotic deep layout with a bit weak vocals sprinkled on top. Actually I would have thought that finding really good vocalists in that area wouldn’t be too hard but hey..thats just prejudice… So for me out of the original mixes the dub mix was the one and it is the dub mix you will get a listen to.
