Soniculture presents the second and last volume of the “Polis” remixes from Billy Dalessandro’s latest album, and what a way to end this project in style with four great floor fillers for the most demanding audiences. The EP kicks off with Mobilee’s Exercise One, who take “only your touch” through a ride of arpeggited basslines and dark grooves only to melt later into the melody that is the heart of track, drifting into uplifting moments. An amazing result from this dynamic duo from Berlin. America’s own Jason Emsley, known for his releases on Platzhirsch, takes a darker path down the techno lane and creates a mind blowing version of “In the red”, with his own processed vocals which end up being the core his message. From Siteholder Chicago, Billy’s mate, Brian Ffar, creates a happy and playful version of “Alphasex” fooling around with synths in ingenious ways. An amazing track filled with groove and originality that will bring only happiness to the listener. Soniculture’s label owner Expander keeps the hypnotic feeling of “Acidburn” but drives it over a stronger bassline towards a point where fine-tuned melodies take over and fill the soul with several sorts of feelings making it Ideal for the mind and the soul.
