There’s no let up for the emerging Hank & Deck as they post yet another enticing EP. This outing sees their ‘Go Like This’ EP feature on Canada’s, ‘Monique Chronique’, a label which has been home to Seb Zito, Audio Junkies and now forms the base to the London duos latest creation.

‘Go Like This‘, the title track on the EP’s threesome, offers a mouthwatering low end that is sure to melt dancefloors at the peak hour. The tracks hypnotic vocals and searing synths further supplement this bass laden affair, and carefully build a tangible suspense throughout. The alternative cut of the same track doesn’t depart too far from its bigger brother, yet the slight bump in tempo and fluctuating bassline pattern make for a refreshing offer.

By contrast, the atmosphere is immediately different in the brothers third instalment, ‘Turn Me Up Some‘. The fx textures and offbeat sounds scape a much brighter picture than it’s moody counterpart. This is only heightened by the emotive string ensemble the breakdown treats us to. The bassline, however, is no less absorbing than the other 2 offerings, as to be expected in a Hank & Deck production. The EP, packed with an assortment of flavours, looks set to be another exciting chapter in the duo’s story.
