With the ‘Sunqueen’ EP we welcome young gun Benotmane to Stil vor Talent.

After recently scoring with an excellent release on Hive Audio, the Swiss talent pulls out all the stops with three powerful original productions.

The title-track steps into the spotlight with guns blazing, as its epic melodies and neo-trance feel will make for the perfect summer hymn during festival season.

While the SVT newcomer Proud leads the original’s synthetic elements towards the sunset by way of a heart melting piano-roll, the Animal Trainer remix is laced with playful sounds and complex drum programming.

‘Special Agent Howling’, another original, presents itself as the dark counterpart to ‘Sunqueen’ – initially paranoia-laced, then filled with melancholic features, the track showcases Benotmane’s impressive sense for atmospherics.

Manuel Moreno feeds off the original’s vibe and thus delivers a subtle and spherical remix. Lastly, the bass line of ‘Runnin’ thunders through the system, as Benotmane once again constructs an incredibly mature soundscape, which closes an extremely coherent first EP on SVT.
