After completing their latest album Dring, Nôze’s Nicolas Sfintescu and Ezéchiel Pailhès followed with an extensive tour. Now, they are taking their work apart and handing it to colleagues for interpretations. ‘When Tiger Smoked’ was a favorite of so many, why not start there?

Brandt Brauer Frick open up with a relaxed set of percussion to ease into nervous piano work. The mod is set for something dark, and tension builds as vocal lines slide in and out. This is not your standard dance track, this is something more.

Smash TV take things up a notch with kicks and schizophrenic hi-hats. A funky feel to the whole thing, like a dreary carnival where insane clowns entertain giddy crowds. It’s a track that takes you by the hand and shows you the other side of the night, where the beat animates bodies in dark rooms with flashing lights. Wonderful things lie ahead.

We start things out with the original, bass-funk-synth track that drives dancefloor wild. In case you don’t know it, the melodic vocals melt together with the rich synth textures, bringin power and elegance to the heavy dance track.
