One of Miami’s own home grown Producers, Hectik is definately a symbol of where he came from. Musically, expect a solid, Miami bass, sub hungry groove when listening to his music as he takes new approaches to getting his roots of old school electro bass incorporated into modern day House and Techno productions. Not one to follow the “what’s in” but instead be 2 steps ahead, you can always count on him to try something new.

His career has spanned 10 years now. He has been making Miami residents and tourists, move, shake and dance to his music all across the city. He has opened for internationally known DJs such as Boris, Sultan, Antoine Clamaran, Edgar V., Armand Pena, Dj Rooster & Sammy Peralta, Starkillers and Austin Leeds, Steven Lee to name a few. He has spun at Major Miami clubs Karu and Y, Pawnshop, Nocturnal, Metropolis, and was a Nocturnal Terrace resident for two years.

Rivero has had releases with labels such as Full Tilt, Minimo, Dirty Deluxe and Wow Recordings to name a few. His music has also been featured on Compilations like his most recent on the Amnesia Ibiza Underground 10 which was mixed by DJ Mar-T and Loco Dice. “I don’t play for the money or fame. I do it because I love music. I was born to be an musician. I’m sure this is my calling. If I could do this for the rest of my life what a sweet life it would be,” he says.
