Acumen makes his debut on New Violence with the Vernon EP. The Time Has Changed boss has had a glittering career so far with releases on imprints such as Get Physical, Set About, NONSTOP & Chapter 24.

The Frenchman arrives at New Violence armed with two tasty originals backed up by stellar remix efforts from Rini Shkembi & Made In Riot.

Vernon kicks things off with it’s rolling deep tech drums and trippy, spaced out vocal FX drifting in & out over hypnotic stabs.

Rini Shkembi strips things back adding a bubbling bassline and shuffling percussion and making ill use of that vocal snippet.

Ideal Juice is next up taking things up tempo with big drums and a grooving bassline building to a rather sinister synth line.

Closing things we have Made In Riot’s interpretation of Ideal Juice. Taking things in a completely different direction we are treated to a peak time melodic-tech monster.
