Nightcolours boss Javier Orduna returns to the label with his Zaragoza Warriors project showcasing collaborations between himself and his home town’s rising stars. For this first edition Javier invites Gerrard & Pablo Camacho into the studio.

Up first we have Fallecer & Renacer both collborations with Gerrard. Fallacer opens proceedings with it’s wandering, layered arps and mysterious melodies meandering purposefully to it’s satisfying conclusion. Renacer follows bringing a more atmospheric vibe punctuated by big hitting stab, floaty arpeggios and reverb soaked chords.

Pablo Camacho joins forces with Javier for the second round of tracks and we start with the aptly titled Fat & Raw. Immediately upping the tempo, toms bounce around driving things onward until the huge bassline drops taking things to another level. Finally the EP ends with The Love Is Over. A deeper more driving vibe than before this is a perfect builder with the added bonus of a rather nice male vocal.
