Giacomo Montanari, best known as Jacky Monties, was born in Ravenna (IT) in 1988. This DJ and producer is constantly evolving, searching for new goals and challenges, experimenting with common paths and innovative languages. His passion for music dates back to his childhood, when he attended a drum school for seven years, followed by to years at a conservatory.

Using new instruments, new technologies and experimental evolutions differentiate Jack’s need of self-expression, and give to his performances unique atmosphere, harmonies and groove. His career officially begun in 2005 at G5 Club of Cesenatico. and is now being followed by many tour dates in different well-known venues such as:

During January 2013, under the label Habla Music Record, Jack Monties exclusively released on Beatport “AROUND YOUR HEAD” [Techno] and “GOOTYA” [Minimal], his first EP, which has been supported right away by: LUCIANO, DUBFIRE, GERMAN BRIGANTE, UNIQUE , OLDERIC , CHICKS LUV US, JOHN LAGORA,RICHIE HAWTIN EMDE, NEVERDOGS, RAFA BARRIOS,UGLH, FABIER,SUPERNOVA,LEON, GREEKO, YOUCEF,MASSIMO CASSINI, THOMAS GIOIA, DAVIDE BENEDETTI,MARCO CAROLA,JOSEPH CAPRIATI,.. and many others.

Since its first week, this EP reached the Top Ten Minimal on Beatport.
“Lost in Paradise” is another important release under the SUPERNOVA label.
Jack Monties recently released a number of other tracks with independent labels, and after many productions, a thorough research of new sounds and a deep technical study, he is finally going to release his new single “Emotions” under TRAPEZ, a german label that is part of the roots of international history of techno music. Two remixes from Gianni Sabato and Piatto will be included in the single.
