Carl Cox is an industry figure head who’s legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell.

Following recent releases from Nicole Moudaber, Saeed Younan and Stephan Hinz this new release is from Elio Riso and NiLO.R.

Elio Riso is an Argentinian based artist who’s talents inside the DJ booth have seen him conquer dancefloors across the whole of Latin America. Elio Riso was a core part of the Carl Cox & Friends night in Space Ibiza, and has played many of the islands top parties including Marco Carola’s much famed Music On party in Amnesia.

Along with compiling mixes for labels like Defected, Elio Riso is also an established producer who boasts releases on labels including John Digweed’s Bedrock, Mark Knight’s Toolroom, Cr2, plus a previous outing on Intec.

Collaborating with Elio Riso is fellow Argentinian and regular production partner NiLO.R, who along with solo releases on labels like Nervous Records, has previously joined Elio Riso for releases on imprints such as Deeperfect, Stereo Productions, MKT Records, Push Push Music and Smiley Fingers, plus many others of a similar calibre.

“True’s” has a dark feel with rigid percussion and a free flowing lead synth that gyrates with accelerated force. Deep and eerie pads provide a murky background atmosphere, whilst flutters of melody burst forth from the high frequencies. Dancefloor focused and set for destruction, the track moves with the tidal force of a tsunami!

“Beat Inside (Dub)” has a rolling tribal groove fuelled by snare rolls and conga hits. The twisted vocal sample and claxon style bass stabs are enthralling and perfect for the club. Whether it’s classed as Tough Tech House or Tribal Techno, this track is a must have weapon that every DJ should pack as part of their arsenal.

“Beat Inside (Vocal)” provides a Big Room Techno version with the addition of a classic vocal making it infectiously catchy with all of the Dub versions dancefloor appeal, this hand’s in the air alternate version will no doubt become something of an anthem.
