Nico Cabeza arrives on New Violence with his Diablos EP. The Italian has already had impressive releases on Moon Harbour, Tronic, Snatch! & NONSTOP and is definitely one of the rising stars of Techno.

Diablos opens proceedings and wastes no time in getting down to slamming techno business. Heavy kick, rattling percussion and an insistent synth line keep the momentum rolling as we build to towards the huge break. Quality big room stuff.

Colombia’s DJ Fronter takes over remix duties for Diablos. He immediately takes things in a heads down, trippy direction, working the synth over the bubbling baseline to devastating effect. Disembodied vocal snippets drift in and out in the break before the drums slam back in. Engineered for maximum dance floor damage.

Next up we have Manteiga a slightly deeper affair and demonstrating Nico’s versatility as a producer. With a throbbing bassline foundation and rising pads coupled to arpeggio synths this is a cracking builder with plenty of atmosphere, setting the tone for the dance floor.

Finally New Violence welcome Paul Nolan for his debut on the label. The Chapter 24 boss turns in an absolute peak time monster which will be destroying dance floors everywhere. There’s no point writing anymore listen for yourself!
