For their 37th outing New Violence welcome two of the fastest rising stars in the scene Patent Skillz boss DJ Lion & Argentinian Tomy Wahl. The pair have collaborated before for releases on Patent Skillz & Kinetika and between them have appeared on labels such as Material, Set About, BeOne and Lemon-Aid.

Quimera opens proceedings with it’s grooving bass, insistent snares and druggy vocal snippets. Chunky, driving drums propel us along making this a dance floor winner.

Basti Grub takes on the remix duties for Quimera. Having had releases on labels such as Suara, Deeperfect, Kling Klong and Moan his reputation is up there with the most consistent producers around. He takes the groove and strips it right down creating a bumping, percussion filled ride perfect for those late night sessions.

Next up is Switch To Acid. Once again the focus is firmly on the dancefloor as the pair weave rolling bass, chunky perch and razor sharp snares together to form a monster. A female voice drifts in & out over the rising acid line building tension for the mayhem that follows. Peak time stuff!

Finally we have Ellroy’s take on Switch To Acid. One of the most exciting talents around, he’s found recent success with releases on Moon Harbour. Elrow & 303 Lovers. For this remix he takes the energy down a notch and creates a perfect early doors builder. Making full use of the chunky perc and synth stabs we groove the night away to this beauty.
