For eleven years already, Fenou has been a synonym for a stylish sound between harmonious electronica and swinging minimal electro. The small but fine sub-division of the well-known Mo’s Ferry Productions has created an entirely own niche within the international club scene. Since 2010 the „Fenou Bouquet“ compilations have also established themselves as a representative overview of the multifaceted work of the Berlin-based talent factory. After the previous parts have been compiled by fantastic music selectors such as Marcel Knopf, Dapayk and Douglas Greed, the Leipzig-based musician and producer Stefan Streck aka The Micronaut is responsible for Vol.4.

Welcome to „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“! The Micronaut already left his mark on the last „Fenou Bouquet“ compilation with his track called „Two Lovers“. After the Leipzig-based artist has already released three longplayer elsewhere and rocked the floors at festivals such as the Fusion, the Dutch Eurosonic or Tallinn Music Week, The Micronaut now proudly presents himself as one of the most exciting and promising newcomers on Fenou! Just like the previous „Fenou Bouquet“ releases, Vol.4 kept the conceptual idea to provide a rousing mix of new exclusive tracks, remixes and carefully selected material from the extensive Fenou-Rooster. Although for the first time there is a non-Fenou title that found its way on Vol.4: „Rockit“ by Greeko originally published on Mo’s Ferry.

Although the mixture of „Fenou Bouquet Vol.4 by The Micronaut“ is as diverse as the artists themselves, there is a recurring theme: „I wanted to tell a story with the compilation of these tracks,“ said the Micronaut describing this handpicked composition of Vol.4. The compilation represents the likes and dislikes of this Thirty-something guy from Saxony, who also produces soundtracks and image films for various companies. „I like blue, tragic, epic tracks. Tracks that stimulate the inner eye and create images. Tunes that are simply danceable, would be too dull for me.

“ And so The Micronaut presents not only The Magician & The Scientist, From Karaoke To Stardom but also Interelektrika and Zaquoir. „I want to take people on a trip.“ A journey that begins with the opener by Martin Kohlstedt and slowly but steady continues to build. „‚Am‘ is a great way to get in the mood. It is also very interesting to hear the interplay of beat and harmony in Lake Powel’s ‚Bright Eyes, Dirty Hair (Acid Pauli & NU Remix)‘ while Dapayk’s remix of Mooryc ‚Simply‘ pushes forward with high intensity.
