‘Mixer EP’ is a the brand new triple track release from one of Germany’s freshest modern Tech House names, M.in. ‘Mixer’ comes with a bouncing techy hi-hat driven groove, it’s prominent bass hook bumps through the track teased with cut up vocals that dance in and out of a platter of cosmic synth effects. Top UK producer Rich Wakley steps into modulator mode, creating a darker Jackin vibe. Closing out the package in full Tech effect is Juliet Fox, who drives the vibe towards modern Tech-House with a punchy bassline, spacious tension filled moments, underpinned by a spectrum of quirky effects.
Germany’s M.in is a DJ, producer and owner of My Favourite Freaks Music and Weplayminimal record labels. The atmosphere and the vibe of his tracks are impressive as he has carved out a career as one of the top innovators of contemporary Tech House, sharpened with swing, groove, and some typical M.in humour thrown in. He has an eclectic approach to his sound and effortlessly pairs deep bass-drum with Afrobeat, Latin or popular swinging jazz. His releases can be found on on renowned labels like OFF Recordings, Desolat, Souvenir, Get Physical, Trapez, Robsoul and OM Records, among many others. He has remixed the likes of Radio Slave and Marc Romboy and various other artists. M.in is also recently released his album ‘Year Of The Ape’ and is currently on tour with it.
Whether it’s topping the Beatport charts, releasing on labels like Hot Creations, OFF, Roush, among others, or blasting out sets all over the world Rich Wakley’s energy is there for all to see. Rich has played many leading venues and festivals such as; Burning Man, Sonar, Tresor, Space (Ibiza), Pacha (Buenos Aires), Ultra (Miami) and The Ministry of Sound (London), Kazantip and Exit festivals. As a producer and label manager, he has crafted many hits which have received a lot of BBC Radio 1 airplay.
Australian born Dj / Producer Juliet Fox uses her own vocals in a unique style to create deep, dark techno and tech house with an addictive edge. This originality has seen her music signed to the likes of Cajual, Toolroom and Love & Other, and has resulted in collaborations with the likes of Green Velvet and Sonny Fodera. Juliet also runs her own record label, Attraction Music and hosts a regular radio show on Bloop.fm.
