Biotop proudly welcomes Werner Niedermeier for his debut Biotop EP. The London based sound engineer, DJ and producer is well known for his quality productions on labels such as Supplement Facts, Rue De Plaisance, Bulletdodge and Turquoise Blue.

Werner already released a track on Biotop’s ‘Cells In The Matrix’ compilation, and is responsible for the mastering on the latest Biotop releases. Hence, Mr. Niedermeier is quite familiar with the sound of Biotop, and its about time to drop his first EP.

Following the first successful collaborations with the label, Werner decided to produce a special EP for Biotop. He started the machines in his studio and juggled around with hypnotic chords & pads, big basslines and intelligent drum-sequences, resulting in two driving and deep techno tracks.

Both tunes unite the characteristic Biotop-mood and Werner’s fabulous crystal clear sound design. For a proper remix-treatment he invited 2 good old friends: Haito from Berlin with the moody version of ‘Gone Back’ and Patrick Zigon with his techy tool of ‘Some People’.
