Off Key take charge of Trojan’s latest offering, with their hefty sized ‘Gods & Monsters’ EP. ‘Sirena’ has a chuggy flow that keeps the low end very forceful. Layered with a sweet vocal hook, it’s a Tech House romper with the power to damage dance floors.

‘Aphrodite’ stays true to her name sake with a beautiful vocal line that whispers on top of an arpegiated melody. Lurking beneath the beauty lies unstoppable driving kick and bass energy. ‘Oh Yeah!’ takes a classic vocal sample combined with a driving Tech vibe to create a menacingly dangerous club pleaser that won’t miss!

Bassel Darwish’s remix of ‘Sirena’ is a stripped back and slightly tribally flavoured affair. With emphasis on the effected vocal, and sparse breakdown, it’s the drums and groove that force this throbbing track forward.

Markel turn up the pace with their driving remix of ‘Sirena’. Hard hitting kick and bass drives the track forward fast and ferociously. Smaller breakdowns keep the energy within the drums, and the soundscape is filled delicately will ambient vocal cuts and effected shots.

Daniel Meister delivers an efficiently minimalistic and thumping remix of ‘Sirena’. A thick and chuggy, hypnotic groove that doesn’t quit, which emanates a somewhat somber and powerful energy that cannot be escaped.

Nuendo is up next with his rendition of ‘Aphrodite’. A rolling groover focusing a lot more of the vocal. Tidy drum and percussion work, on top of a subby kick and big deep bass line harboring strength to shake the speakers.

Chinonegro’s remix of ‘Aphrodite’ has striking force to it set by the throbbing sub bass. The arpegiated melody stretches and dances across the audio plane, evolving nicely in harmony with the effected vocal work to produce a solid club tune.
