Having kicked off 2016 with the launch of his own VL Recordings label, Hector has converted that momentum into an incredible summer season with sets at Space Opening, Elrow, Paradise, Sankeys and Pacha on the horizon. In addition, Hector kicks off a monthly summer Vatos Locos residency at the legendary Club Der Visionaere in Berlin, plus a one off Vatos Locos event at City Hall during Off Sonar week, where no less than 12 of the crew will play including honorary members: Seb Zito, Kenny Glasgow and Bill Patrick.

For the second release on VL002 Hector raises the bar with a solo follow up entitled ‘Jacuzzi Killer’.

Having appeared on many stalwarts of the underground house and techno label scene over the last 8 years including: Desolat, Mobilee, Tsuba, 20:20 Vision, 8Bit, Moan and Decay, 2016 has witnessed the start of a new chapter in his already illustrious career with the birth of this new label project which launched with a bang at a packed Vatos Locos party at BPM Mexico in January this year.

‘Jacuzzi Killer’ is a four track EP packed full of that signature low slung, rolling groove we all know and love Hector for. The cherry on top, a coveted and rare remix by Detroit legend Rolando will see VL Recordings keep the music to the high standard that has become synonymous with Hector and his Vatos Locos crew.
