With a Blackflag Detroit Movement Festival after party upcoming, a performance at Iceland’s Secret Solstice Festival and heading into his fifth year as a resident for Music On Ibiza, Stacey Pullen’s looks to have another big summer ahead.

The last we heard from Stacey on the release front was his ‘Balance Series’ compilation at the end of 2015, which was very well received across the board and showed a different side to Stacey’s tastes within electronic music. Now, he is ready to reveal his latest solo effort forthcoming on his Blackflag imprint, entitled ‘ROK’. This is Stacey’s first solo EP since 2013, proving he is a producer who values quality over quantity.

Here, Stacey presents three very contrasting tracks plus a remix from Christian Smith and Wehbba which also offers the perfect alternative take on title track ‘ROK’

With ‘ROK’, Stacey takes you on a futuristic journey through pure deepness, while Christian & Wehbba’s remix lends a slightly more euphoric take on the
original mix.

Stacey adds even more weight to the EP with ‘The Hunt For Din Dah’. The original kicks in with a marching beat that means serious business, and builds up sending the listener into a hedonistic frenzy. The ‘Reprise Dub’ starts with a more hypotonic touch, but keeps you engaged with occasional waves of fuzzing synths.
