Biotop is proud to welcome the next exceptional artist to the family. Berlin-based Portuguese producer João Silva is well-known for spreading his mighty music as Jepe or Just John, and with his abandoned collaboration project Johnwaynes.

João has released on taste-making labels such as Compost Black, Get Physical, Cécille, Mule Musiq, Let’s Play House, UNKNOWN Season and many more. Recently he’s gained attention with his own labels Alperce and Blossom Kollektiv, which are praised for their organic releases, special label events, and passion of the crew behind these projects.

Jepe delivers the perfect 3-tracker for a debut on Biotop, reflecting his style, production skills, and the sound of Biotop in a perfect way. Influenced by his day-by-day business in Berlin’s beautiful Kreuzberg area, Jepe created three deep voyages, made for the sophisticated dancefloors of the world.

Jepe’s characteristically warm pads, chords, synths, and crafty analog grooves impress – each in its very own way, comfortable yet unique within the wide spectrum of techno and house.
