Eisbrecher is the first LP produced by P41. It’s a retrospective of the artist and his 15 years career as dj, producer and sound engineer.

Edoardo Pietrogrande aka P41 aims to create a journey in his memory, a soundtrack like a dj set; here’s the meaning of Eisbrecher, the route every dj has to tread to break the ice on the dancefloor. We are speaking in this case of P41, acronym of parallel 41, the latitude crossing his hometown Rome, New York, Instambul, Barcelona, Belgrad, Tokyo… and as we said “retrospective”, so we have 2 big influences: detroit techno and the electro masters like Drexciya, Anthony Rother, I-F and Legowelt.

P41 brings us 6 tracks, 6 long edits plus 1 experimental tool. The atmospheres and influences travel around the pla- net as he usually does, step sequencer and acid bassline are the leitmotiv of the first part, dub fx and polirhythm arr angements are the protagonist in the second.

This lysergic LP encloses more than a decade of electronic music and communicates telepathically the vibes the artist felt on the dance floor.
