The sound of Purple Disco Machine describe some as “Deep Funk”. In 2009 the project Purple Disco Machine was founded. In recent years, PDM composed many songs with nice samples and great funky house mood.
2013 in June he released his first track on OFF Recordings: “My House”. The PDM hype was lifted to a new level in the summer of 2013 and the success of the track changed a lot for the career of the artist: The track stormed Beatport and reached Beatport Deep House #1 and overall #3 at peak and holds completely 1 year in the Deep House Top100! „My House“ is in the Top10 of the most selling tracks in 10 Years Beatport history just one year after release!
With the follow up EPs ‘Move or Not’ and ‘Funk EP’ Purple Disco returns end of 2013 on OFF Recordings to infuse us with yet some more dancefloor destroying funk and to conquer the Beatport cause each EP track reached the Top20 charts.
A full packed dj-gig schedule with shows all over Europe in top venues and already gigs in Asia or India is the result., Another big collaboration started Purple Disco Machine with his OFF-Label buddy Teenage Mutants. The first strike came in January with „People“ on the Light my Fire label. For the 5 Years OFF Recordings Compilation they smashed again a nice deep Monster track called „Little Treehouse“ but their last collaboration they created one of the most shazamed tracks in Summer 2014.
Officially announced as Suara Summer Hit 2014 the track is played lots of partys all around the globe, reached Beatport overall Top10 and is now signed by Sony Music for a re-release., PDMs latest Musique EP on OFF Recorings shows again that he is not a one-hit-wonder and releases one great production after another.
But also his Remix schedule has crowin a lot incl. many big names like Harry Choo Romeo, Dino Lenny, Lars Moston, Adam Stacks , Roland Clark, DJ Pierre, Sharam Jey or Sigma feat. Paloma Faith. For his first artist album the Machine is working hard and straight, to be scheduled for Spring 2015.,
But after all his creat productions Purple Disco Machine every weekend on his shows around the globe that he also a great DJ who knows how to create a special vibe and to interact with the crowd and to feature a creative and diverse mix that is always presented in a sophisticated and authentic way.
2015 was an incredible year for PDM. He did Remixes for Faithless, Claptone or Juan McLean, producer of a lot of big Beatport sellers on labels like Exploited, Defected or Kittball. This year he played over 100 shows all around the globe incl. big festival stages and famous clubs. Crowned now as Artist of the Year by download store Traxsource and by Magnetic Magazine. His new Tank Drop EP on Kittball came out 2 weeks ago and the track „Yo“ is already on #3 BTP DH! Furthermore his Remix for Boris Dlugosch’s ‘Keep pushin’ went straight #1 on Traxsource overall charts.
