It has been quite an exciting year for Biotop, with great releases by amazing artists. For the final release of 2015 Patrick Zigon returns with his first solo-EP for a while.

The Biotop Label-boss recently gained attention with his remixes on Connaisseur and Compost, and is finally back with some of his very own productions.

The 4-tracker “Dubberries & Strawchords“ combines everything that Zigon and his label stand for: dubby chords, deep pads, abstract synth-sequences, big basslines, and hypnotizing rhythms – melted into electronic emotions and separated into 4 tracks: the techy “Loop Du Jour“, the housey “Vajinashun“, the percussive “U Know“ featuring Paulo Olarte’s unique vocals, and the dreamy “Wunderbaer“.

As a bonus the package includes the dub version of “U Know“ with just a few vocal-snippets. “Dubberries & Strawchords“ will be released in December, completed with a fine mastering by Martin Eyerer and a beautiful cover-design by Fee Felicia.
