A bunch of long-term Frankfurt house- and techno players team up for this EP. Those originals – Clubnight radio stalwart Franksen, Deephouse don C-Rock and Techno pioneer Tom Wax – cater for tru school house sound as heard in the early 90ies basements. Chunky bass, marching drums and stirring chords do the trick.

DROP WITH IT sees Franksen and Tom Wax get down in deep but euphoric warehouse manner. Classic Chords plus a sizzling beat workout will set true and sweaty clubs on fire.

IN THE BASEMENT remains raw to the core of old machine drumming. Franksen & C-Rock deliver a groovy original that salutes their Chicago masters while ringing a typically personal percussive note.

Our George Perry remix treats his “Drop With It” in techno manner. A beat of locomotive breath and deep thump meets those original chords halfway in the dark. Ben Nook & Peter Latino find inspiration as such on their “In The Basement” track. Churning out a fresh bassline while keepin’ a few of the originals’ sounds they adapt the original to modern underground.
