After the release of their debut album earlier this year, Channel X get their first full-on remix package on Stil vor Talent. First up is “Freak Show”, the original track being full of Berlin 1920ies magic circus craziness reminiscence. Adding some stabs on the break and turning the bassline from clumsy to very chunky, this track is sure to set the crowd right for a heavenly peak-time attack. On the flip it’s label boss Oliver Koletzki himself who puts his magic house fingers onto the super sweet “Snug Descent” that features Jake the Rapper hypnotically talking about the comfort zone that is the couch. Oliver turns the track into a Caribean house anthem that is not only super groovy, but also so deeply delicate as house music should be. Two great remixes in this package!
