Karin Park’s soon to be released single ‘Stick To The Lie’ from her acclaimed LP ‘Apocalypse Pop’ truly captures the unparalleled sound of this Grammy-winning singer songwriter. As an artist famed for snaring every crowd from the first clear-as-glass note, Park soaks up the atmosphere around her in an almost osmotic process; similarly in ‘Stick To The Lie’ each emotive bar strikes a personal chord in the listener, each lyric becoming effortlessly engrained in their psyche with every listen.

“Shall I pretend we are in a dream? Should I pull you back to reality? Things that you tell me, they don’t make sense. Let’s stick to the lie.“

Love may not be easy, however for Park, the ability to have the audience eating out of the palm of her hand, whilst a feat unattainable for many, seems to come with ease to this stunning dark pop songstress. For Park, if there is a story to be told, the track will often find its way to her intuitively: ‘The song came very easily to me, as the good ones seem to do,’ she explains. ‘Life is so complex. But as in many things in life, it’s an open end.’

The compelling cut will be released with remixes from German DJ & producer Whistle Back and Rory Gallagher & James Trystan.

Whistle Back delivers two versions of the hypnotic cut, experimenting with the track’s lyrics and harmonies to create the hook for his signature re-work. As an artist attracting attention across the globe, and reaching over a quarter of a million listeners on his Soundcloud in eight weeks alone, this signals yet another game changer in this rising star’s catalogue.

Rory Gallagher & James Trystan’s re-work of the track starts with an even darker, more ethereal core, spiralling into something that would find its feet on some of the world’s most decadent dancefloors.
