Biotop is proud to welcome a German producer-legend to the family. Even before his massive club-hit „Hey little girl“, Mathias Schaffhäuser had earned a safe place in the German hall of fame of electronic music.

Mathias successfully runs his very own Ware Records and is a well-respected producer & remixer, which he showed recently with his remix album „RE:4 – Selected Remixes Vol. 4“ on Blue Fin, and with his collab with Pawas called „Hunt“, released on Compost Black Records and including a fine remix from Patrick Zigon.

For his debut on Biotop Mathias delivers two spacey and abstract techno tracks. „I Feel Everything“ is a declaration of love to life, the earth and the cosmos, a life-affirming statement in times of too much emotional hardening and misanthropy.

„Mein Freund, der Traum“ sounds like a late Arnold Schoenberg student trying to produce Latin House and ending up with freestyle minimal. These two special tracks have received some special remix treatment by Patrick Zigon & Paulo Olarte. Zigon brings „I Feel Everything“ to a more hypnotic level featuring his characteristic pads and dub chords.

In his unique style Paulo Olarte rides with the stems of „Mein Freund, der Traum“ and emphasises its latin flavour. „I Feel Everything“ will be released digitally in October, completed with an analog mastering by Martin Eyerer and a beautiful design by Fee Felicia.
