Easy Morph 2Born in Rouen, Normandy, the duo Easy Morph used to make people dance in clubs before they were even allowed to get in. Together since the age of 12, the duo experienced some emulation among themselves and with the music they cherish and collect, the electronic music and particularly techno. The logical consequence was the creation of the duo a few years later in order to exploit this connection, at first for dj sets and then for production.

In their sets as in their production, they like to hear the rolling sub and the kick on time, a powerful and compelling binary techno punctuated by dark soundscapes,
sometimes melancholic accompanied by saturated synths brushing against acidity.

Their first EP “Ghost” on Qubiq Records in December 2014 directly set the pace of what they like to produce. Dark and powerful the main track is brilliantly remixed by Marnyc issuing the “coldest” vision of “Ghost.” The second title Metaverse is on the contrary much more spatial and warm, enhanced by the remix of D’jamency.

A couple months later, Easy Morph released “Faction” on the legendary German label Trapez for which they started experiencing with hard techno. The tracks follow a raw, industrial & heavy style that was very new to them. The EP starts with “Function” maybe the most versatile of the three tracks as it is full of sudden changes that make us dive into various atmospheres. Followed by the track “Faction” a simple track that could make dance floors melt. “Factory” walks the same path by creating a spacious hall in which all of their intrinsic elements meet.

Back on Qubiq Records in April 2015 for their EP “Trouble”, they revealed their influences Dub Techno through two atmospheric club-friendly tracks. The remixes by Fabrice Torricella and Eize Baer of “Trouble” reveal the most underground versions. The second title “Troubles” is upward, enchanting and sublimed by the the remix of Bazarov.

Soon after the duo met the collective Peche Mignon, seduced by their project, their values and their love of music. The beginning of a new adventure was felt by the duo and pushed them to release at the end of May 2015 their first vinyl “Acedia” on Péché Mignon Records. This one begins with the title “Bloom“, a straightforward introduction revealing a dark universe whose architecture is made of a dry kick and a heavy bass. Indeed, the track is a gradual accumulation of deep, rhythmic synths pounded by a fat kick. FKM437 is similarly hyperactive, punctuated by sharp cymbals and a bouncing bass.
