Next up on Altus Project is sure to be one of the label’s biggest releases to date: behind ‘The One’ are Italian tastemakers Newbie Nerdz and on the remix are revered Hot Creations beat maker Jey Kurmis and MadTech’s Stefano Esposito.

Newbie Nerdz are no strangers to dance floor dynamite, having crafted it for esteemed labels like Kerri Chandler’s MadTech, AudioJack’s Gruuv and the one and only Get Physical before now. Their sound is an infectious one couched in tech that really hits the sweet spot each and every time.

The track itself, ‘The One’ is sure to be massive this summer. It has massively monstrous kick drums barreling along with a pumped out chest and tons of sweat inducing groove. Icy hi hats roll next to them, and subtle vocal ad libs add a sense of party starting vocal fire. Soulful chords smear out from the heart of the track and it is a no messing, stab laced house raver that cannot fail to get floors stomping.

Jey Kermis then reimagines the track as a subtle, shuffling deep tech cut with rich, bulbous bass, a restless sense of groove and a playful breakdown that will send crowds wild, especially once the fractured garage vocal and spangled synth lines come into the mix. It’s a real floor slayer and no mistake. Then comes a different but equally essential remix from Stefano Esposito that is deeper and more soulful, with lots of reverb and muffled vocals all layered up to intoxicating effect.

This massive new EP will be supported with events on 7th August in Manchester and 8th August in Brighton, and is sure to win both label and artist many new fans this summer.
