Biotop presents the amazing 4-tracker EP „Jiaogulan“ by swiss producer Mastra.

The mysterious plant „Jiaogulan“ also known as „Herb of Immortality“, is famous for its powerful antioxidant and adaptogenic effects purported to increase longevity.

With the choice of the title for his debut-EP on Biotop, Mastra pays not only respect to this wonderful plant, he underpins his believe in the immortality of music.

Mastra is well known for his quality releases on labels such as Sirion, Bar25, Eintakt, Cynosure and many more.

With „Jiaogulan“ he delivers the perfect dubby and moody EP for hot summer days.

Mastra created 3 beautiful multilayered sound-collages with deep chords, funky basslines, driving percussions and dreamy synth-sequences.

Pawas takes revenge of Mastra’s great rework for his track „Adana“, which was released on Biotop earlier that year.

His version of „Sahara“ is more reduced and completes this brilliant EP in a perfect way.

“Jiaogulan“ will be released digitally in August, completed with a beautiful design by Fee Felicia.
