The Zombie Soundsystem label is now a go to outlet for assured club music that moves floors and inspires DJs.

That continues again here with a new EP from the much loved Volta Cab. Entitled Caspian Sea it features two killer cuts. Volta Cab is Konstantyn Isaev, a Ukranian who has had a high rate of output since emerging in 2011.

He releases on labels like Illusion Recordings, Kolour Recordings, Glenview and many other fine labels. His sound is deep, delicious and decidedly popular with those who know.

Up first, Caspian Sea is a bulky, raw and vibe fuelled house cut with heavy drums, romantic melodies and warm, golden pads that really heat you through.

It’s a nicely jumbled arrangement, too, with some jazzy motifs and plenty of playfulness in the groove, so really is one that will sound great on the terraces this summer.

On the flip, You Gotta Do Your Job Well is a slower and more purposeful house cut with rubbery drums, lazy elastic groves and some great vocal stabs.

Itss swampy and dubbed out and full of atmosphere so is one to get basement warmed up in the early part of the night.

Once again here the Zombie Soundsystem label has lined-up a fantastic new EP from a very assured talent.
