Biotop is proud to welcome Pawas to the family. Pawas is one of India’s hottest electronic underground-exports and is well known for his great releases on Spectral Sound, Fear of Flying, Eintakt and many more.

Pawas is not only an excellent producer, he’s a passionate chef and food-lover also. Inspired by the flavors of the orient, he composed this EP. “Blue Nile“ is the name of Pawas’ favorite restaurant in his hometown Pune, India.

Adana, Jujeh and Chelow are three delicious kinds of indian Kababs – just as delicious as his electronic interpretations of these amazing dishes.

Pawas sampled typical oriental instruments and built his characteristic grooves around them, resulting in this experimental EP.

For the proper remix treatment he invited two friends; Swiss producer Mastra reworked Adana into a funky and dubby house-bomb, and dutch producer queen Estroe has turned Jujeh into a detroitish synth-voyage.

„Blue Nile” will be released in february digitally, completed with a beautiful artwork by Fee Felicia.
