Mallorca’s premiere House & Techno outfit Sub_Urban follow up a series of sunny singles from Life On Planets, Guri and Christian Lamper with ‘Soul Wagon 01’ – a Christmas VA collection from family members Campaner, Guri alongside Eider, Wiki & Oneplus and Gaol.

First up is Mallorca based Campaner who assimilates the skills he’s developed through playing in and recording Rock bands and delivers ‘A Little Closer’. Here he turns his attention to his own style of vocal lead Deep House blending rich sultry chords and twinkling sequences with a sharp and effective rhythm section.

Sub_Urban favourite Gaol then follows up various appearances on VA’s and his ‘Get On To’ EP and weighs in with ‘Sapamana’ – a signature, no-nonsense groove that is propelled by a bumping kick and filter modulation. Swirling melodies are sat atop a hefty bass pattern as progress chugs on.

Guri then teams up with Spanish songstress Eider for ‘It’s Nobody’s’ – a soothing meld of piano patterns and soulful crooning that are sat atop Guri’s tight kick and clap combo. Label favourites Wiki & Oneplus then dim the lights slightly and present ‘Drama’, a moody concoction of interweaving melodies, powerful keys and shimmering hi hats bringing the release to a close and capping off another big year for Sub_Urban.
