Founded by the NYC based nightlife entrepreneurs behind Sankeys Ibiza and Space New York, the Serkal imprint has been several years in the making, with a stellar run of releases from the likes of Randal M, Reboot, Hermanez and Santos.

Serkal’s next EP comes from one of Mexico’s most prolific producers on the scene right now, Hector. His previous releases on Tsuba, Desolat, Inmotion, showcase his current position of one of the finest purveyors of deep and sultry techno on the underground circuit.

The original mix of ‘H.P.I.C’ brings a beat that mean business, paired up with a mischievous vocal sample that will channel your inner dance floor devil. An ample serving of mind-bending FX scattered throughout help take the track to an other-worldly place.

David Gtronic’s subtle interpretation maintains the original’s low-end groove, but brings a further element of hip-lashing swagger, with a rolling tech beat and an extra dose of gravely weight in that bassline. The perfect re edit to Hectors original mix

Hector finishes the EP with a pulsating beat of ‘Benefits’. Whilst its hypnotic synths have the potential to transport the listener off to a dream world, the track stays firmly grounded with a crystal clear kick drum rooted underneath.
