Random Numbers is excited to announce ‘SLIGHTLY OUT OF FOCUS’, the debut extended play from White Raven. After several years releasing his music under different names (Wang Inc., Walking Mountains), Bologna based Bartolomeo Sailer has started a new sonic adventure.

White Raven is a mixture of urban loneliness and analogue romanticism. Harsh feelings in a fluctuating environment, polyrhythmic textures and cinematic soundscapes. It’s techno. It’s damaged. It’s melodic. The EP’s four tracks are deep, romantic and psychedelic, but also disturbing and obsessive. A new idea of dance music, influenced by dubstep snare rolls, techno kickdrums and minimal hats, a mixture of Burial’s abstraction and Jon Hopkins’ lyricism.

Besides this project, Bartolomeo is a full time composer, working on scores for cinema and documentaries, and collaborating with visual artists like Yuri Ancarani and Saul Saguatti. He is behind the music of Toilet Paper Magazine’s Video Section, curated by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari.
