Overall Music is the brainchild of Javier Carballo and Hanfry Martinez, two established producers in their own right who have teamed up alongside Desolat star Hector for the label’s inaugural release.

The original mix of ‘Daggers’ is a dark hypnotic house trip. Taking the listener back to the halcyon days of the birth of the tech-house sound, it’s reminiscent of the works of legends like Peace Division or Terry Francis.

The first remix comes courtesy of Romanian duo Livio & Robi. Warm yet menacing chords and rolling basslines are the order of the day, giving the track a strong Detroit slant. Techno for the tougher minds.

Guti’s interpretation is a swirling mix of techy deepness, where indecipherable sounds blend in and out of focus alongside percussive elements, pads and distorted voices, giving the track a sense of tension and mysticism.
