The Thrill of It imprint continues to go from strength to strength, and now Time Has Changed label co-boss Acumen steps up for a new EP that once again confirms he is a modern great. As well as two original tracks, remixes come from Jules & Moss and Lee van Dowski and Dean Demanuele.

Opener Diagonal is a melodic, moody tech house cut with great vocals, sombre chords and magical synth patterns that are truly spiritual. The other original Thrill is a darker, more intricate techno leaning cut with the muffled sound of voices adding an air of tribalism to proceedings.

Remixing Diagonal is Jules & Moss and they flip the track into a sinewy, skewed bit of late night house with a classic vocal sample treated in special ways. As the track unfolds all sorts of deep space drama does too and it’s a fine track as a result.

Last up is a remix of Thrill from Cadenza and Mobilee man Lee van Dowski with his partner in crime Dean Demanuele. The resulting track is a rolling, loopy bit of tech house with moody synths and slick metal drums. It will surely soar on Ibiza terraces as the summer draws to a close and is another massive release for this label.
