The german dj & producer Patrick Zigon is back – with his label Biotop, and with his first vinyl release after 2 years.

Located at the beautiful Lake Constance area in Southern Germany, Patrick Zigon builds with his label a biotope for friendly artists, which is focused on experimental and open-minded electronic music.

After the first digital releases, Biotop drops the first vinyl on the market. Patrick Zigon’s “Ich See” was released on Biotop’s [aLIVE] compilation, and is without doubt one of the brightest moments in the young label-history.

“Ich See” is a typical Patrick Zigon track with deep and dubby chords and atmospheres, a huge kick, a heavy bassline and strong, undeniable Detroit-influences. Some call it Neo-Detroit, some call it Detroit-Dub… however you call it – it’s deep, dubby and detroitish.

Patrick invited two well respected electronic artists to put their mighty skills on the original track.
Avantroots & Desolat’s Pablo Bolivar remains very close to the original, adding a huge organ-bassline, which makes it even more melodic, deep and housy.
Thoughtless Music & Get Physical’s Noah Pred completely rebuilds the track.

He adds noises and bleeps, and delivers a techy, trippy voyage.
“Ich See” will be released beginning of august on vinyl & digital, completed with a beautiful artwork by Maralotta (patam) and amazing videos by visual-artist Tripfabrik.
