To compress the musical world of Todd Bodine onto two sides would be bordering on the impossible. More than ten years of experience as a producer, a household name among the top ranks of DJ’s worldwide and now a top quality Live act, co-label boss at Berlin’s Highgrade Records, and, and, and..! Yet the workaholic of the electronic scene still manages to regularly release records of finely balanced and highly original music. The pattern continues with the new EP entitled “Between”, which finds Bodine creating music which “slips in through the backdoor to your heart.” From the elegantly composed and understated sound arrangements to the almost imperceptible build in intensity in the hypnotic and pulsating beats, the tracks create a subtle but insistent aural atmosphere.
