Sam Haas returns to SIM with four super deep cuts that blend a familiar old school vibe with contemporary flairs in what is becoming a signature of his style.

The title track “Bloodsugar” is a pure bassline groover with smooth percussive work and sexy vocal overtures that beckon you to move. It’s a perfect weekend weapon designed to drive the floor into a deep frenzy.

Then “All about her” comes in with some summer vibes by evoking deep sultry slow-attack pads and a thick chunky bass and drum groove.

The B side tracks “Coqui” & “Forked Roads” borrow from the quirky, but undeniably funky and deep legacy of the West Coast where he resides.

Coqui, which gets it’s name from the Caribbean frog he sampled on a trip to Puerto Rico, is a perfect vibe-setter to get the room ready the night to come.

Forked Roads comes for the other end of the night, when it’s hypnotic and emotional groove can be used to keep the dedicated partiers moving through the morning.
