Guardate is a Munich based DJ and producer who has more than a decades worth of experience in the game. He has made soundtracks as well as hot 12”s and prizes himself on the real detail in his music. All that is here to see with his great new original.

Here in cahoots with Saxity and vocalist Christine Ben-Ameh, he serves up One Night, a rich, rolling deep house cut with stunningly emotive vocals. They soar above rubbery drums as big piano stabs add plenty of colour, and this one is sure to send main rooms into overdrive.

Curtis Gabriel remixes with a fine touch and speeds up the track and injects more elastic funk. A big bassline and skipping garage perc liven things up and ensure it is a more bouncy groove that will find lots of love on the floor. Finally, the excellent Schwarz 100 remix is a more slow burning thing with a low slung bassline, muffled male vocals and a real sense of drive.

This is first rate modern house music that is fresh, well arranged and crisply produced to really stand out.
